Held every three years, the acquisitive prize for painting calls for artists across Australia to consider the impact of human habitation on the environment with a different theme each time referring to this idea. The 2019 theme was the ‘Anthropocene.’ Nadine’s painting ‘Hang in there’, 2018 has been awarded the prize, announced at the launch of the finalists’ exhibition on Thursday 28 November at Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery, in Ringwood, Victoria. Congratulations Nadine!
