Between Appearances: The Art of Louise Weaver – REVIEW: Sydney Morning Herald
In a recent review of Buxton Contemporary’s current exhibition, Robert Nelson writes:
“The beautifully crafted and poetic sculpture is one of many enigmas in Between appearances: the art of Louise Weaver at Buxton Contemporary. You wonder what’s inside, how the ropes talk to one another about where they’re going and what they’re doing together, occupying one another’s space and jostling with wooden beads. They present as a burly group but their solidarity dissolves by their floppy nature at the bottom”.
