A group of high school students talk in gallery in front of a painting of a bee

Exhibition Visits are free opportunities for school groups to explore Tony Clark: Unsculpted (Term 1 and 2), or The Veil  (Terms 3 and 4).

Students and teachers receive access to the Exhibition Resource, filled with engaging audio-visual and text-based content providing detailed insights into the exhibition.

Exhibition summaries:

Unsculpted takes a closer look at Tony Clark’s sustained interest in the representation of sculpture and sculptural relief through painted form. The exhibition presents a unique perspective on the artist’s prolific practice, characterised by a sequential approach to image-making: Clark’s paintings borrow from the histories of art, architecture, theatre design and decorative arts, often subverting hierarchies between these disciplines.

The Veil offers a deep exploration into identity, culture and memory. The exhibition will journey into the realm of the spiritual, exposing otherworldly experiences that are central to our existence though often concealed. Artists include: Hayley Millar Baker, Hannah Gartside, Aneta Grzeszykowska, Glenda Nicholls, Lisa Waup, and Lena Yarinkura.
