Artist Floor Talk: Lou Hubbard

Often the most valuable feedback for an artist when developing new work comes from conversations with fellow artists, who act as sounding boards, critics and trusted confidantes. Hear from esteemed Melbourne artist Lou Hubbard, who will draw upon her dialogues with Susan during the development of this exhibition. Lou will share observations about the importance of studio experimentation and the relationship between artwork and site in Susan’s practice and consider the concepts of alchemy and sculptural syntax as they are revealed in ‘The ants are in the idiom’.
