Watch: Qian Weikang

In 1993, artist Qian Weikang was given a simple instruction: create an artwork in response to 45 degrees. Drawing on his experience as a boilermaker, he transformed steel, video and installation into a work that captured the spirit of artistic experimentation in 1990s China.
