Located in the heart of the Melbourne Arts Precinct, Buxton Contemporary features sophisticated spaces for hire for private events. Explore the available spaces below.

Entrance Foyer & Courtyard

A modern art gallery lobby with shiny floors, white walls, large decorative plants, and a reception desk where several people are standing. Contemporary art pieces are displayed in the background.

The entrance foyer and courtyard is a stylish setting at the entrance to the main gallery, that can accommodate up to 150 people for a standing event, or an intimate dinner for up to 30 guests.

The Education Gallery

A modern, empty lecture room with rows of black chairs facing a podium on the left. The walls display framed photographs and a large, dark-toned painting. The floor is concrete and the space is well-lit.

Nestled within the first-floor gallery at Buxton Contemporary, the Education Gallery houses an in-built projector and is a unique location for meetings and presentations.
